August 21, 2010: This summer New Englanders will have the opportunity to experience a sliver of Sri Lankan culture through a variety of traditional songs, dances and other performances. The show titled “Saaranga” will be held at Babson College this August 21st. All the performers are kids and adults from right here in New England, and they are sure to put on a truly enjoyable show for the entire family. Net proceeds from this event will go to both the New England Buddhist Vihara and Meditation Center to fund its free programs and the "Sirilaka Udanaya" program to help needy children including displaced families in Sri Lanka.To see the event flyer is here.
